You can link a credit or debit card to your wristband and use it to pay for drinks, food, and merchandise at the event with the tap of a wrist. NOTE: Cashless payments are not available for all events at this time. If a link to set up cashless payments isn't included in your wristband package, you can't set up cashless payments for the wristband associated with your registration.

1. Go to the registration link provided in your wristband package.

Your wristband package contains an insert with the registration link. There you’ll find important information specific to your wristband and event.

TIP: Having trouble finding the registration link in your wristband package? Check the event organizer's website for more information, or eblink{contact the organizer directly=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3275} if you still need help.

2. Click the button to register your wristband.

After you’ve read the information on the organizer’s website, click on the button to register your wristband.

NOTE: You’ll need an Eventbrite account to register your wristband and use cashless payments. Shortly before the event starts, you can also use your Eventbrite account to update your card information or set a new PIN number.

5. Register your wristband with Eventbrite.

You'll see all the fields and options you need to fill out: • First and Last Name: The full name of the attendee who owns the wristband. • Gender • Birth Date • Wristband Number: This ID number is located behind the plastic piece on the wristband. • Emergency Contact: Provide the full name, email address, and phone number of an emergency contact that the event organizer can contact should anything happen. Once you've entered all your information, hit “Register” to register your wristband with Eventbrite.

NOTE: You can register the wristband under someone else's name, but you can only register a wristband once, so make sure you have all of that person's required information on hand. Once registered, wristbands can't be transferred and identifying information can't be changed. You can gift the ticket and wristband to anyone before registering the wristband, but only the original buyer can eblink{deactivate the wristband or request a replacement=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=17630}.

6. Add a credit or debit card.

Click “Assign Card, enter your credit or debit card information, then select “Use This Payment.” You can add or delete cards shortly before the event begins.

TIP: You can't set a spending limit for cashless payments, but—if you've maxed out your budget for the day—you can deactivate cashless payments during the event by eblink{logging into your Eventbrite account=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login target=_blank}.

NOTE: Eventbrite takes the eblink{security=>https://www.eventbrite.com/security} and eblink{privacy=>https://www.eventbrite.com/privacypolicy} of your billing information seriously. Cashless payments are extremely secure, and all payments are processed over a secure connection using a PCI-compliant gateway. A PIN number is required for every purchase, and we don't store any credit/debit card information on the wristband itself. If you lose your wristband, all you have to do is eblink{deactivate it on Eventbrite=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=17630} or at the Box Office.

7. Create a PIN number.

Create a unique 4-digit PIN number, then re-enter to confirm and click “Activate Cashless.” Your PIN code ensures that only you can buy things with your wristband, and you’ll have to enter the PIN each time you use cashless payments to make purchases at the event.

NOTE: Avoid combinations that are easily guessed like “1234,” and don’t share your PIN code with others.

8. Manage your cashless registration.

Follow the link in your wristband package (which you used to register your wristband) to update your credit card information or PIN code. Select "Manage Registration" and click on "Update Card/PIN". To change your credit card information click on "Change". To change your PIN enter and re-enter a new PIN and hit "Confirm".

9. Use cashless payments at the event.

You can use your wristband to pay for food, drinks, and merchandise at the event. All you have to do is tap your wristband against the scanner and enter your PIN code.

TIP: If you lost your wristband, don't worry—all you have to do is eblink{deactivate the original wristband=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=17630}, either online on Eventbrite or at the Box Office. You won't have to re-register your wristband, and the credit or debit card information associated with your original wristband is automatically transferred to your replacement wristband.

NOTE: Any cashless credit you received with your ticket purchase can only be applied within certain areas and for certain items, like drinks but not merchandise. Check the event listing where you registered or eblink{reach out to the event organizer=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3275} for more details on where you can claim your credit. You can’t buy more cashless credit, and you can’t receive a refund for unused cashless credit.

10. Receive an email receipt after each cashless payment

Each time you use cashless payments at the event, the payment vendor automatically sends a receipt to the email address you used to register your wristband.

NOTE: For questions about your cashless purchases, please contact the merchant, who is listed on your email receipt.
