It only takes a few steps to reset the password on your Eventbrite account. Go to eblink{>}, enter your Eventbrite account email address, and choose "Reset password." Shortly after, you should receive an email with a link to create a new password for your Eventbrite account. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder and add "" to your email contact list to ensure you can receive our notifications going forward.

TIP: If you just need to change the email address on your Eventbrite account, take a look eblink{here=>} instead.

PRO TIP: If you entered a typo for your Eventbrite account and know the typoed email address, you can eblink{log in=> target=_blank} and eblink{correct the email address=>}. If you registered for an event and don't know the typoed email address, eblink{contact the event organizer=>} to have the email address on your order corrected.

NOTE: If you're unable to reset the password for your Eventbrite account through the password-reset page, eblink{contact us=>} to request assistance. Please note that requests received from an email address that differs from the email address on your Eventbrite account may be delayed, and require additional information to process.

1. Enter your email address and choose "Reset password."

To get started, visit eblink{this password reset page=>}, then click or tap in the field under "Email." Simply enter your account email address (or the email address you entered on your order) and choose "Reset password." We'll send you an email with a link to create a new password.

TIP: The Eventbrite app for eblink{iPhone=>} and eblink{Android=>}, as well as our box office app, Eventbrite Organizer for eblink{iOS=> and eblink{Android=>}, use the same login information you use on, and you can reset them from the login screen of those apps.

PRO TIP: If you receive a message saying the email address isn't recognized, then an account hasn't been created with that email address (yet!). Sign up eblink{here=>}.

NOTE: If you received a password reset email but didn't request it, feel free to disregard. The actual email sent from Eventbrite is needed to reset the password and we only send this to the email address on your account.

2. Select "Set a New Password" from the password reset email.

Check your inbox and open up the email with the subject line, "Reset your Eventbrite password." Then choose "Set a New Password" and you'll be taken to a new page to create a new password.

PRO TIP: If you haven't received the password reset email in your inbox, check your spam folder, as our emails can get re-routed there. To prevent future Eventbrite emails from going to your spam folder, just add "" to your email contact list.

3. Create a new password.

Enter your new password, then re-enter the password again to verify it was entered correctly. Strong passwords typically contain at least 7 characters, with both upper and lowercase letters and at least 1 number. Once you're ready, select "Reset password" and you'll be logged in and taken to the Manage Events page (or the Tickets page, if you've never eblink{created an event=>}.)

EXAMPLE: Michael uses the first letter of each word in a sentence to create a strong password that's easy to remember. He uses the sentence "I adopted Rupert on April 4, 2014," which becomes "IaRoA42."

PRO TIP: Passwords must be at least 4 characters long and are case sensitive, but we don’t require special characters. If you enter one of the last 4 passwords that were used on the account, you'll receive an error message saying, "Your password wasn't changed. New password matches one of last 4 used passwords."

NOTE: Eventbrite maintains a comprehensive privacy program, and we have a full-time legal and security team focused solely on protecting your privacy and security. To learn more, check out our eblink{Security & Safety Guide=>} and eblink{Privacy Policy=>}.
