It only takes a few steps to reset the password for your Eventbrite account. Go to eblink{eventbrite.com/reset-password=>https://www.eventbrite.com/reset-password}, enter your Eventbrite account email address, and choose "Reset password". Then we'll send an email with a link to create a new password for your Eventbrite account. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder and add "mail@eventbrite.com" to your email contact list to ensure you can receive our notifications going forward.

TIP: If you need to change the email address on your Eventbrite account, take a look eblink{here=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3251} instead.

PRO TIP: Does your email have a typo? You can still eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login target=_blank} and eblink{correct the email address=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3251} if you know the email and password used to create your account. If you registered for an event and don't know the email address or password, eblink{contact us=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us} for assistance.

NOTE: If you're unable to reset the password for your Eventbrite account through the password reset page, eblink{contact us=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us} for assistance. Requests sent from an email address that doesn't match your Eventbrite account email address require additional information to process and may be delayed.

1. Enter your email address and choose "Send email".

Go to eblink{eventbrite.com/reset-password=>https://www.eventbrite.com/reset-password} and enter your account email address (or the email address you entered on your order). Then click "Send email".

TIP: The Eventbrite app for eblink{iPhone=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11000} and eblink{Android=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=11001}, as well as our box office app, Eventbrite Organizer for eblink{iOS=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=5870} and eblink{Android=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=30714}, use the same login information you use on Eventbrite.com. You can reset your password from the login screen of these apps as well.

PRO TIP: If you receive a message saying the email address isn't recognized, an account hasn't been created with the email address you entered. eblink{Sign up=>https://www.eventbrite.com/signup target=_blank} if you'd like to create an account on Eventbrite.

2. Open the email and click "Set a New Password".

Open the email with the subject line, "Reset your Eventbrite password" and click "Set a New Password".

PRO TIP: If you haven't received the password reset email, check your junk/spam folder. To prevent future Eventbrite emails from going to your junk/spam folder, add "mail@eventbrite.com" to your email contact list.

NOTE: If you received a password reset email but didn't request it, please disregard the email. The email we send is required to reset the password and is only sent to the email address on your account. To learn more about security and privacy, check out our eblink{Security & Safety Guide=>https://www.eventbrite.com/security} and eblink{Privacy Policy=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=8478}.

3. Create a new password.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and are case sensitive, but we don’t require special characters. Enter your new password and click "Reset password". From here, you'll be logged into your Eventbrite account.

EXAMPLE: Michael uses the first letter of each word in a sentence to create a strong password that's easy to remember. He uses the sentence "I adopted my dog Rupert on April 4, 2014," which becomes "IaMDRoA42".

TIP: Strong passwords typically contain at least 8 characters, with both upper and lowercase letters and at least 1 number.

NOTE: If you enter one of the last 4 passwords used on the account, you'll receive an error message saying, "Your password wasn't changed. New password matches one of last 4 used passwords".
