How to name your device using Eventbrite Organizer

"Name Device" simplifies the reconciliation process when using multiple devices to sell tickets and check in attendees. Download the Eventbrite Organizer app and follow this process to name your device: Select your event > More > Settings > General > Name Device > Enter a name for the device. That's it — identifying specific devices in Event Reports just became that much easier!

1. Select your event.

After you eblink{create an event=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=5035} and eblink{download Eventbrite Organizer=>https://www.eventbrite.com/l/Organizer-check-in-app/}, log in using your Eventbrite credentials (email address and password). Then tap your event from the "Select Event" screen.

2. Tap "More" (on the Dashboard).

3. Tap "Settings".

4. Tap "Name Device" (under General).

Enter a descriptive name for each device so you can trace it back to either a location at your venue or the person operating the device.

TIP: You can include letters, numbers, spaces and any other special characters you like — even emojis!

5. Tap "OK" to save changes.

TIP: You can rename the device by tapping "Rename Device".

PRO TIP: Switching the event on the device will not affect this setting; the name will remain the same until you rename the device.

6. Reference sales and check-in data in Event Reports.

Monitor sales and check-in stats by going to Event Reports on your event's Manage page. Use any of the following reports to view sales and check-in data: • Event Attendance by Time: See check-ins by time. Get a sense of when the busiest times were for entry and use this data to plan for future events you host. • Event Attendance vs. No Shows: See "checked-in" versus "attending" (not checked-in) tickets registered to your event. • Device Sales Summary: See information about event sales broken down by device (in case you used more than one device to sell tickets and collect donation). • Device Check-in Summary: See check-ins by device. Great for events with multiple entry points and devices checking attendees into an event.

TIP: Click "Excel" to download your report an a .XLS file or click "CSV" to download your report as a .CSV (comma-separated value) file. Then check the "Downloads" folder on your computer to open and view the report.
