Here's how you do it:
The Eventbrite API makes it easy to integrate with popular third-party apps and tools that make organizing events easier. To integrate with the Eventbrite API, you'll need your personal OAuth token and application key, which can be found in the "App Management" section of your Account Settings. Check out our eblink{Developer resources=>https://www.eventbrite.com/developer/v3/quickstart/} to get started, and if you have specific questions, eblink{join the Eventbrite API Google group=>https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/eventbrite-api}. Also, follow eblink{@EventbriteAPI=>https://www.twitter.com/EventbriteAPI} on Twitter for the latest updates!
TIP: If you're just trying to integrate your event with one of our popular third-party extensions, take a look at the eblink{Eventbrite App Marketplace=>https://www.eventbrite.com/apps/}.
PRO TIP: The application key should be implemented by a developer, and you can check out our Developer page for a eblink{quick start guide=>https://www.eventbrite.com/platform/api}.
After you eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login target=_blank}, access the account menu, then eblink{select Account Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/account}.
Developer is the second-to-last section in the options menu.
NOTE: If you're a subuser on an Eventbrite account, you won't see the "App Management" section on your eblink{Account Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/account} page. Only the main account holder has access to this, so connect with them if you need their personal OAuth token and application key to integrate with the Eventbrite API.
Choose "Create A New App" to create a new application key.
Enter the following information to request a new application key: 1. Name: The first and last name of the contact for your application. 2. Company Name: The name of your company. 3. Application URL: Enter the link for your application. 4. OAuth Redirect URI: The place in your application the user is redirected to after authenticating with Eventbrite. 5. Application Name: The name of your application. 6. Description: Write a short description telling people the most important information they should know about your application. The Company Name and OAuth Redirect URI are optional fields.
After filling in the required information, choose "Create Key" to create a new application key. You'll also receive an email from Eventbrite when your API application key is approved.
