In case you’ve been having too much summer fun to notice time passing, we’re here with a friendly reminder that there are just a few weeks of warm weather left. So, take advantage of the many places in New York City that allow you to enjoy drinks and fresh air at the same time — while you still can.

With our favorite rooftop terraces, waterside lounges, backyard patios, beer gardens, and tiki bars all waiting for you (and your money), it’s time to get ready for a booze-filled rest of summer.

Boat Basin Cafe
Upper West Side

Take in spectacular views of the marina and the Hudson River as you enjoy a delicious margarita, strawberry daiquiri, or piña colada at this seasonal bar in Riverside Park.

Watermark Bar
South Street Seaport

With two stories and ample space, Watermark Bar sits on Pier 15 above the East River and is a perfect destination for day drinking. Plus, if 12 hours of partying and drinking German beer sounds like fun, you’ll most definitely want to check out their Oktoberfest celebration taking place every weekend between September 15 and October 2.

Mulberry Project
Little Italy

The mixologists at this speakeasy gem whip up custom-crafted cocktails for guests to enjoy on a backyard patio that features street art and a garden.

Pod 39 Rooftop
Midtown East

Sip cocktails on what feels like a Spanish veranda with its exposed brick patio and picturesque city views. If you’re not a guest (or guests of a guest) staying at this minimalist hotel, you’ll just have to check in with the restaurant in order to access the rooftop.

Loreley Beer Garden
Lower East Side

You can head to this outdoor bar, inspired by the traditional beer gardens in Cologne, in rain or shine with a cover stretching over the entire seating area. Order a liter stein and some authentic German food, and kick back in a quaint setting.

Open through the end of September, this tropical destination serves as a popup within the Soho Grand. Soak up the island life while you still can this season and head to this trendy Soho spot to enjoy Gilligan’s signature Frozen Watermelon Margarita along with selections from the oyster bar.

Today on: Bocce Cops

This spacious beer garden, which sits adjacent to Green-Wood Cemetery, features bocce and all kinds of great weekly specials. Our favorite is Burger + Berger Wednesdays, which means you get a Radeberger pint and a beef or veggie burger for just 10 bucks.

Threes Brewing

With a couple of dozen beers on tap, you’ll be enticed to spend an entire afternoon in Threes’ sweet outdoor space while trying as many brews as your liver will allow.

With how chill this place is, you may forget you’re at an actual bar and not your friend’s dope backyard. Patio furniture, a ping pong table, and strong margaritas all make for a damn good time.

Night of Joy

The rooftop patio here has an immediate cool vibe, and it definitely earns even more cool points for the $6 signature cocktails during their daily happy hour from 5pm to 8pm. Go for the basil-lime gin gimlet or orange blossom rum lemonade.

Brooklyn Ice House
Red Hook

If you’re looking to throw back cheap beers and stuff your face with Frito pie (who isn’t?!), look no further than this divey saloon-like bar that excels at tasty food and good times.

Lavender Lake Bar

This laid-back spot calls Brooklyn’s coolest ‘hood home, and it’s got a chic cocktail menu to match, with drinks like the Gowanus Mermaid (Greenhook Ginsmith Gin, blueberry shrub, fresh lemon juice) and the Kraken (Yaguara Cachaca, coconut jalapeno water, fresh lime juice, mint simple syrup).

Habana Outpost
Fort Greene

Chow down on traditional Mexican and Cuban cuisine and enjoy frozen margaritas at this sprawling outdoor space (that caters to groups of all sizes) seated beneath colorful umbrellas.

Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

As the city’s oldest beer garden with roots dating back to 1910, this massive space never disappoints. Any experience here feels like a giant block party with the beer garden’s family-friendly atmosphere, loads of picnic tables, and live music on the weekends.

Sitting on the border of Brooklyn and Queens is this spacious outdoor bar that was made for day drinking. Founded by DJs Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin (who bring their wildly fun Mister Sunday parties here on the reg), Nowadays is your one-stop shop for drinks, food, and fun. Check out the dates for all upcoming Mister Sunday parties here.

The Garden at Studio Square

If sunshine, $30 pitchers of sangria, and enough seating for your whole crew sounds like your idea of a good time, Studio Square is the hotspot of your dreams. It’s also a great pick for going out with the girls, considering their $4 drink specials from 7pm to close every Wednesday during Ladies Night.

Bungalow Bar & Restaurant
Rockaway Beach

As the city’s most popular place for a staycation, Rockaway Beach provides a beachy escape from it all, and this relaxing hideaway is the ideal spot for enjoying drinks after a day of sun and sand. Situated at the foot of the Crossbay Bridge, Bungalow Bar offers panoramic waterfront views from its outdoor deck and tiki bar.

Pine Bar + Grill
East Bronx

This rooftop bar and lounge, which prides itself on its “Manhattan-style ambiance,” features a solid martini selection, Italian-influenced cuisine, and DJs playing most nights.

Billy’s Sports Bar
Concourse Village

With its location directly across the street from Yankee Stadium, Billy’s is a solid spot to grab a drink or two before or after a game- especially if you’re down for a loud and rowdy time.

Staten Island

Marina Cafe Tiki Bar
Great Kills

Drinking al fresco in Staten Island doesn’t get much better than this harborside hotspot that serves up a shuckin’ good raw bar and delicious seasonal cocktails like the

Whiskey Summer (Jack Daniels, Peach Schnapps, peach puree, club soda) and Pineapple Passion (Amsterdam Coconut Vodka and Malibu topped with Apple Pucker and pineapple juice).
