It turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks. In 2019, make it a point to learn new skills even if you’ve left the school system far in the rearview mirror. This year, make a New Year’s resolution to finally try that arts and crafts class you’ve been eyeing, to enroll in that coding crash course, or to simply commit yourself to being the best at-home pizza chef you can be. No matter what you choose, make this the year you not only learn more but learn better, thanks to these Eventbrite organizers.

You follow your favorite artists, venues, and meme accounts on Instagram. Now, you can keep up with your favorite event creators on Eventbrite. Simply tap the follow button to make sure you never miss tickets from your favorite creators. You’ll get an email from Eventbrite whenever a new event goes on sale so you’ll never have to experience FOMO again.

Baldoria

Look out for: “On Pizza” cooking classes with chef Duke Gervais. Follow Baldoria on Eventbrite for tickets to this weekly event!

Why: Baldoria’s chef Duke Gervais hosts this Sunday night pizza cooking class at his beloved DTLA restaurant, Baldoria. At just $30, tickets to the class include all supplies and materials, a complimentary glass of wine or beer to enjoy while you cook, and, of course, your own handmade pizza to eat on-site or bring home with you. Thanks to the intimately sized and hands-on class, students will pick up skills and tips from chef Duke Gervais to bring back to their own kitchens. Make 2019 the year of more home-cooked meals — and more pizza. Always more pizza.
