What’s the deal?

Vevolution Festival – the ultimate celebration of the plant-powered movement – is returning to London for the fourth year running to shine a light on the change-makers who are confronting the most important issues facing our generation. The day’s programme includes inspiring talks, interactive workshops, thought-provoking panels, and of course, some of the best vegan eats in the UK.

The impressive line up of speakers includes athlete Dominick Thompson, renowned chef Rachel Amafilm-maker and activist Jack Harries and bestselling author Niomi Smart. The workshops, which aim to give attendees practical tips for living more sustainably, will cover everything from ethical fashion and food innovation to wellbeing and low impact living.

This is the first year that Vevolution will be bringing a third stage to the festival – The Positive Futures stage, while they are also partnering with Eat Drink Vegan to showcase the brightest plant-powered innovators from the US. And then there’s that afterparty, where best-selling authors and plant-powered chefs BOSH! will be unleashing their hidden musical talent and providing beats to go with the beets.

What do the organisers say?

Vevolution Founders Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel said:

“Vevolution Festival has become the place where the leaders of the global plant-powered movement gather to discuss how we can create a more positive future. We built the festival around with educational content at its heart and always strived to find the most amazing venues to tell stories and discuss ideas that are changing the world.

“In just three short years we have built an internationally renowned festival which takes place in the heart of London’s Southbank. For us, nothing beats the feeling we get when people share the impact the Vevolution movement has had on their lives. This year will be the biggest festival ever with three stages running simultaneously. If you are someone interested in getting inspired to be part of the positive change happening in the world then this festival is for you.”

The verdict?

If you’re already part of the plant-powered movement, or you’re interested in how you can start your journey, Vevolution is just the inspiration you need. The organisers describe the festival as being for “the curious, the passionate, the bold, the compassionate, and those who want to change the world.” If that describes you, then clear the calendar and get involved. Viva la Vevolution!
