Zeta Nu Omega chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization established by African-American college-educated women. Zeta Nu Omega chapter was chartered on March 12, 1955 in New Rochelle, New York. Zeta Nu Omega service projects have been built around uplifting the family structure, enriching the educational experience, raising awareness of health issues affecting women and people of color, encouraging involvement in politics, promoting economic and financial literacy and developing more leaders in the community.
