Young Child Expo & Conference

The Young Child Expo & conference is a unique forum that brings together all early childhood professionals to learn about the latest information, products, services, and resources for early childhood development.  the focus of our conference is on the essential topics & innovative approaches that can help all young children learn & grow well.  Our attendees seek practical information that they can use immediately in their work.  About half of the conference program will include topics affecting all children (e.g., social emotional development, literacy, language development), and half of the program will include special needs topics such as autism, speech, motor, behavior, and other developmental disorders.

For 15 years, Los Niños Training has hosted the annual Young Child Expo & Conference in New York City which was founded by Dr. Scott Mesh (the executive director of Los Niños Training and co-founder of Los Niños Services) and Dr. Vincent Alfonso (currently Dean, School of Education, Gonzaga University). In 2017, over 1400 teachers, psychologists, social workers, pediatricians and other professionals attended from 45 states and 19 countries including Hong Kong, Denmark, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Australia, Gibraltar, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, Bhutan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, and Iceland. Our sponsors include Autism Speaks, Bank Street College, Mercy College, WNET Education Department (Channel 13), Sesame Workshop, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, NY Family Magazine, and many more.
