Yo Productions/Yolonda Tonette Sanders

Yolonda Tonette Sanders is a traditionally published Essence Magazine bestselling author. Her writing career began in 2004 when she signed with Hachette Book Group to release her first novel, Soul Matters. Yolonda has since written other books, including her latest, Wages of Sin (Simon and Schuster; 2014), which is the first in a mystery/suspense series. 

The founder and CEO of Yo Productions, LLC, Yolonda initially created her company to produce a stage adaptation of her first book, which successfully debuted at the Capital Theatre in Columbus, Ohio. Soon after, Yolonda began offering literary services through Yo Productions. She is currently in the process of transitioning the company into an independent publishing house of its own while also planning her next major theatrical event. 

Through Yo Productions, Yolonda has helped both self- and traditionally-published authors perfect their works. In addition, she has done freelance writing for businesses and individuals. Yolonda lives in Columbus and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Columbus Literacy Council, an organization dedicated to improving adult reading skills.
