Women on Board is a peer learning group for women board leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area. The group meets quarterly for dinner, networking and discussions led by experts in the field of nonprofit governance. Members also have access to this listserv and resource library with articles, samples and tools related to all aspects of nonprofit governance.

By invitation only, the group is designed to help women who serve on nonprofit boards to hone board leadership skills through peer learning and intimate conversations with governance and leadership experts. Purposefully kept small and interactive, Women on Board gatherings allow members to network, share insights and deepen their expertise in a community of peers.

Our members include current and past leaders from: Children’s Creativity Museum; Children’s Fairyland; Contemporary Jewish Museum; Coro Center for Civic Leadership; Emerge, CA; Greenpeace Inc; League of Women Voters of California; Opportunity Junction; Planned Parenthood Northern CA; Richmond Community Foundation; San Francisco Bicycle Coalition; TechBridge Girls; United Way of the Bay Area.
