Wombmens Temple

 

As the Founder & Visionary of the Wombmens Temple, Nadirah Godsmith has a profound love for organizing and gathering girls and young women. She enjoys inspiring, educating and encouraging all to tap into their divine power within, giving birth to one's full potential, and discovering divine purpose. Since graduating from Bennett College in 1999 with a B.A. of Psychology and studying Women & Gender Studies at the Graduate level; Nadirah has been extensively involved with the work of healing and empowering women and girls.

Ms. Goldsmith has served on the Board of “Girls Inc.,” facilitated Women’s Services with the YWCA, Cultural Enrichment Director with the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, coordinated series, programs and events at Bennett College, volunteered with the Teen Parenting Mentor Program, managed female clients at battered women and homeless women shelters, residential programs and volunteered with many organizations that promote the upliftment of girls and women across the country.

In addition, Ms. Goldsmith coordinated weeklong programming for an overnight summer camp for tween and teen girls for three years and facilitated a series of overnight lock inn empowerment events for both middle and high school girls and middle school boys. Serving as a PTA President at her children’s middle school, she later served as the school’s Grassroots Parent Coordinator and ultimately as a Substitute Teacher. Ms. Goldsmith continues to empower women with monthly empowerment events and through supporting other events that empower women and girls. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Nadirah currently resides in Greensboro, NC with her two young adult children and is presently self-employed as a project manager.
