William James College is building and sustaining a culturally diverse behavioral health workforce that is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to succeed in the workplace and in an ever-changing global economy. Workforce Development Initiatives at William James College aim to bridge the needs of organizations, the profession, and the community by providing high quality education and training programs that prepare students to meet the demand for culturally competent behavioral health care across the nation. The College's Center for Workforce Development (CWD) oversees a number of key programs that include the Behavioral Health Service Corps, Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Human Services Completion Program, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Initiative, and PATHWAYS. The CWD also regularly hosts forums, conferences, and other professional development events to bring the community together for learning opportunities.
