Ways of Seeing

"Ways of Seeing" is a project devoted to fostering creativity and bringing fluency in visual language. This name is an homage to the wonderful John Berger, we could not find a better way to say it! We use collage as our main technique for the workshops as it allows everyone to access the joy of visual composition immediatly, so that beginners or more visually aware participants can progress at their own pace. It allows an alchemy to occurs as the piece creates a pattern and delivers its own meaning.

The main teacher for the classes is artist Eleonore Pironneau. Eleonore is a visual artist and lecturer. She holds a Fine Arts MA from L’ENSAD-Paris. She is known for her teaching of art and visual communication to non-specialised audiences as well as BA and MA students (Le Celsa-Paris Sorbonne, King’s College, ESC London, INSEEC London, etc.). She publishes articles about art interpretation, "Lecture d’une œuvre", in every issue of L’ECHO Magazine. As an artist she is represented by Katherine Maginnis.
