Vicky Gou, Realtor®, KW Bay Area Estates
Vicky Gou is an accomplished Silicon Valley professional with four years of experience in the real estate industry. Contributing more than a decade of marketing communications and social media experience, plus many years as an environmental engineer and political advocate, Vicky has the professional dexterity required to negotiate successfully between people with opposing priorities. Her real estate clients describe her as detail-oriented, responsive, and knowledgeable, and more than a few appreciate her continuing care after the transaction has closed.
Among her favorite reasons to be a real estate agent: making complex information clear and digestible for buyers and sellers. Vicky wants the people she represents to understand the documents they’re signing, and she’s adept at presenting thorough, organized information and advice so clients can feel comfortable with their real estate decisions. With her background in non-profit work, she has a soft spot for helping first-time homebuyers and lower income families who may struggle to achieve homeownership without her careful guidance.
Born and raised on the East Coast, Vicky holds degrees in environmental engineering from Duke University and the University of Florida. She spent two-and-a-half years living and working in Shanghai, China, where she taught English as a foreign language to business professionals. She also speaks Mandarin, making her the ideal agent for multi-generational Chinese families where cultural and language considerations can come into play.
Vicky and her husband John live in Mountain View, where they share a small home with their big dog, Bentley. When not representing her real estate clients, Vicky might be found serenading close friends in a private room at her favorite Cupertino karaoke bar.
