UW Stroum Center for Jewish Studies

Housed in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington, the UW Stroum Center for Jewish Studies is the most comprehensive institution in the region for the academic study of Jewish life in its cultural, intellectual, religious and international contexts. Representing over a dozen disciplines, our faculty teach, research and share their scholarship with UW students, other scholars and the general community so all may come to appreciate the important contributions made by Jewish people in helping to shape our world to date. The Stroum Center receives the majority of its funding from the community whose partnership enables the cultivation and promotion of the Program’s scholarly endeavors.
