Unity Temple Chamber Music Recital Series

Mission Statement:
The Unity Temple Chamber Music Recital Series is a series dedicated to connecting audiences with world-class local and regional talent creating transformative aesthetic experiences through the performance of eclectic programs featuring Classical music, contemporary or more rarely performed works, and/or programs that showcase the musicians' full capabilities of musicianship no matter how various.  This open platform will lend itself well to more creative programming in the future as the series evolves. Eventually we hope to commission works by contemporary composers.
The Unity Temple Chamber Music Recital Series is a series of performances from fall to spring on the third Sunday of every month at 2:00pm at Unity Temple on the Plaza. Started by Erin Keller, this series will be a unique offering to the public which will enlighten audiences and give world class local and regional professional musicians an outlet for their unique voices. Musicians are encouraged to play newer or more obscure works as a part of their programming, with the main view being through a classical lens.
Unity Temple on the Plaza is starting the first year of the new Unity Temple Chamber Music Recital Series!! Starting off our first season is Nathan Carterette performing his program of Poets of the Piano on November 19. We are honored to host him. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear Bach, Prokofiev, and works by composer Quentin Kim performed by such an expressive and studied world-class pianist.

Poets of the Piano is a recital celebrating the magic and poetry of
piano music that transcends the instrument. The music on this program
explores national identity, songs of wandering and return, and
evocative music, conjuring dance scenes, water, Spanish guitars, and
above all beautiful sounds.
