UF College of Education

The University of Florida College of Education, founded in 1906, is Florida’s highest ranked college of education in both Florida and among public education schools in the Southeast. It's online programs in graduate education are ranked first nationally by U.S. News & World Report

The college's distinguished professors and their graduate students vigorously pursue vital, interdisciplinary research to advance teacher preparation, educator professional learning, classroom technology, education policy and leadership in all education disciplines. By partnering with public school districts and communities, faculty scholars design, field-test and scale up evidence-based learning system models to transform teaching and learning and promote healthy child development and early leaning.

Nearly 1,500 graduate and undergraduate education students are enrolled on campus in 28 degree programs and academic specialties. More than 1,750 students are enrolled in the college’s 161 online courses, 12 online degrees and six online certification programs.
