It is each hiker's responsibility to try and stay as safe as possible and to also watch out on behalf of fellow hikers' well being. We suggest the following:

 

1. Be in healthy, good physical condition and able to hike the level of distance.

2. Do not attempt to hike if sick or injured. 

3. Bring/wear proper clothing, footwear, equipment, plus water and food.

4. Pay attention to the trail; be alert to the environment; keep other hikers in sight.

5. Come fully prepared for contingencies, such as getting lost off the designated trail or having to turn back early for any particular reason.

6. Bring your common sense and always use it when in the wilderness.

 

NOTE: You will not be allowed to participate with the group if you are not adequately prepared. You must have enough Water, Food, and the right gear to complete the hike.
