Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Atlanta Peachtree Chapter

Top Ladies of Distinction (TLOD), Inc. is a national, non-profit (501(c)3), educational, and humanitarian organization that was chartered in Tyler, Texas in 1964. The mission of the organization is to enhance and enrich the lives of youth and adults through national and community based programs and projects. Since its inception, the organization has expanded its objectives to include its focus on youth (known as Top Teens of America), improving the status of women, service to senior citizens, community beautification, and community partnerships.  Chapters nationwide support the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and the awarding of national scholarships to at least one in each of TLOD’s six geographic areas.  Moreover, TLOD has included in its program, a cooperative peer education facet with Top Teens of America and the National Foundation, March of Dimes.

The Atlanta Peachtree Chapter of TLOD, Inc. was chartered on June 26, 2010 with the goal of implementing TLOD's five national thrusts, as well as projects in the Atlanta community. Members of APC supervise and mentor the Atlanta Peachtree Chapter of Top Teens of America which are comprised of 17 members ages 13-18.
