Tie James- Waddy is proud of the acclaimed and recognized Houston Birthing Connection. The Houston Birthing Connection is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization which seeks to provide support for middle- and high-school students who are pregnant or parents in Harris County and the surrounding areas. Our primary goal is to empower and inspire teen parents to achieve the best futures possible for themselves and their children by providing information, resources, parenting education, career development, academic guidance, and emotional support to pregnant and parenting teens.  Tie is one of the leading authorities of Abstinence Education, Child Birthing Education and Doula services. Raised in a traditional home in the late 1970's, she was taught the importance of obeying God, education and respectful behaviors.  Founder and CEO of Houston Birthing Connection Tie is expanding services around Harris and Fort Bend Counties.  She is a wife, she is a mother and once was a teen parent but most importantly she is a follower of Christ. She loves to work with teens who want to be a better mother and want to escape poverty. Tie has talked to many teen parents and they sometimes feel hopeless about life, love and their future. Tie is constantly shaping the teen parents thoughts into a positive and a hopeful thought process. Tie inspires them, helping them to see the great future ahead for themselves and their child or children.  In efforts to prove them wrong Tie formed the marriage club Once Upon A Marriage a concrete example to show them, and to help them bring hope back to a society where the fire is burning out. Tie host events to empower and restore marriages in efforts to keep hope and love alive. All humans want to feel a sense of love and loyalty. Proceeds from these events help provide support to teen parents that receive services from Houston Birthing Connection.

Federal Employees Houston Birthing Connection is a participant of the Combined Federal Campaign #CFC#38726.
