The William S. Baer School Partnership Board

Part of the Baltimore city school system, the William S. Baer School serves the needs of 185 students (ages 3-21 years) with multiple and severe physical and cognitive disabilities. Children who attend the Baer School work extraordinarily hard to make strides in the life skills that are often taken for granted by typical students. Baer School provides vision services, social work and psychological services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, adapted physical education, and audiology services. All services are provided in addition to the academic and resource classes expected in everypublic school.

The Partnership Board was established in 1994 and is a separate 501© 3 non-profit organization to raise additional funds to support the special needs of the Baer students and to secure volunteers for the school.
