The Wild Animal Sanctuary

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 720 acre refuge for more than 450 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other large carnivores that were rescued from illegal or abusive situations.

The Sanctuary is open to the public for educational purposes and is located approximately 32 miles from downtown denver.  Open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to Sunset, and only closed four holidays per year (Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Independance Day and Thanksgiving Day).
