The Trey Clegg Singers, Inc

The Trey Clegg Singers, Inc., beginning its seventh season, is an auditioned, semi-professional chorus with the highest level of choral discipline and standards. The Singers are a multicultural choral group based in Atlanta, GA, representing the city’s diverse population. The group was formed in March of 2016 by Trey Clegg, one of Atlanta's beloved and most gifted Choral Directors and Organists, out of a deep desire to bring talented and versatile choral musicians together from across the state of Georgia to create artistic beauty and community. With so much division in America today, The Trey Clegg Singers are passionate about making a difference and bringing people together through music to understand our commonality.

The Trey Clegg Singers, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission of spreading peace, hope, and love locally, nationally, and internationally through the expression of choral music from many genres, sacred and secular, from a global perspective. The talented Singers, professional and amateur alike, represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and have been selected by competitive audition to perform at the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Performing Arts Festival in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.  They have sung extensively throughout Atlanta and the Southeast.   The group premiered "Without Regard to Race, Sex or Color, a new symphonic work by d. Randolf Hooker for their annual Black History concert in February 2022. In June of 2022, the Singers, with three other choral groups, made their Carnegie Hall debut under the masterful baton of Dr. David Morrow, director of the famed Morehouse College Glee Club.

In 2020, due to COVID-19, when live performances or even in-person rehearsals were not safe, The Trey Clegg Singers pivoted to a virtual platform and produced eight virtual musical selections, including a virtual Christmas Concert, which included two virtual selections and recordings from previous Christmas Concerts featuring Members of the Grammy-Winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Past Christmas Concerts have been held at King Chapel (Morehouse College) and the famed Ebenezer Baptist Church/Martin Luther King, Jr. Center in Atlanta.

In the fall of 2021, The Trey Clegg Singers went back to live in-person performances. This year our Fall Concert is on October 1, 2022, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 634 West Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. On December 17, 2022, we will be back performing our annual Christmas Concert - Festival Sounds of the Season, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 101 Jackson Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30312.
