"Superheroes inspire us to realize our full potential in society. As biotechnology becomes cheaper and more accessible, more of us will have access to the superpowers that shape our world. This lecture series gives an insider’s view of the science-based approaches that are developed and used in the Department of Defense and our National Laboratories. We will hear technical topics presented in every day language to motivate the inner superhero in each of us."
The lecture series is held on the University of Washington Tacoma campus in the VIBE - Tioga Library 3rd floor, Monday nights at 6pm during the fall quarter. A short walk traditionally to 7 Seas takes place afterward to enjoy Tacoma's favorite biotech (beer) and a personal science experience with a real superhero!
