The Purple Dove

The Purple Dove Opioid Treatment Center was established to help meet the need for Opioid Addiction Treatment in Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas.

Opioid addiction has become an epidemic and thousands of people lose their lives annually due to their addiction.

On April 21, 2016 the world lost an icon, a musical genius, humanitarian, and an incredible human being, Prince Rogers Nelson, due to an accidental overdose of Fentanyl, a powerful painkiller.

The owner of The Purple Dove, Annette Boatswain, is a Physician Assistant and has been a fan of Prince from early on in his career. After Prince's untimely death, Annette decided to use her passion and skills to establish a treatment center to help those that are struggling with opioid addiction. She believes that although she was not able to help Prince, there are many others that need help in this area. This is her way of honoring this incredible man that did so much for others and help keep his legacy of philanthropy alive.
