The Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret

The Old Operating Theatre Museum & Herb Garret is the oldest surviving Operating Theatre in Britain created in 1822. It is housed in the herb garret of the attic of St Thomas' church, once part of the Old St Thomas' Hospital. Learn about the history of Georgian and Victorian surgery and medicine.
