The Heritage Trail Association, Inc. was formed in 1994 by people who had a vision of keeping Somerset County history and historic places alive and exposed to the public at large.
Now in its 25th year, HTA provides originally written narrated bus tours, monthly speakers and many other events throughout the year.
The Middlebrook Theatrical Society has become a part of HTA with many Trustees also serving as reenactors in our interactive guided tours highlighted during Somerset County's Weekend Journey Through the Past in October each year.
