The Global Food and Drink Initiative
Founded in 2020 as a media nonprofit, the mission of The Global Food and Drink Initiative (GFDI) to share, connect and preserve the history and culture of the African diaspora through food, drink and travel.
GFDI currently publishes the world's first culinary magazine that showcases the African diaspora, Cuisine Noir Magazine initially launched in 2007 and rebranded and launched again in 2009. It also began publishing its consumer blog, The Culinary Scoop focused on providing foodies with the latest in food, drink and travel news with its business blog, Behind the Business, following soon after.
Upcoming events will engage a global audience looking for the food and drink best experiences, business growth opportunities and more.
