The Friends of The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is a voluntary organisation and a registered charity which supports the work of the hospital for the benefit of patients, their families and staff.
Registered in 1993, the charity is supported entirely by voluntary contributions from the public. We provide care, comfort and support to patients of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
The Friends charity works closely with the hospital to supplement and enhance the services provided to patients by the hospital and its own volunteer department.
The majority of our fundraising goes towards two of our biggest grants within the hospital; The Patient support Project, which was established at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2011, the project was set up and funded by The Friends for anyone, needing assistance when visiting or staying at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The second largest grant is our Butterfly Room Project; creating side rooms in each ward for dying patients to pass away in a peaceful environment with their family and friends.
We need your support to ensure that we can continue to preserve and develop these unique projects, and so we welcome you to join us at our events.
