The Cookery, founded by Chef David DiBari in 2009, was named to accomplish exactly what he sought out to do: cook great food. The menu changes daily and has few boundaries. While most names of Italian restaurants generally end in a vowel, DiBari chose The Cookery, allowing for an endless, playful and evolving perception of Italian food. Located in Westchester County’s most artfully inspired river town, Dobbs Ferry, The Cookery offers comfortable dining with high energy in a gastropub like setting. Think herds of carnal, nose to tail dishes, hand rolled pasta, whole suckling pig dinners and a little Method Man for your ears. DiBari is also Chef/Owner of The Parlor, a out-of-the-box neapolitan pizza joint, also in Dobbs Ferry, and DoughNation, a mobile wood-fired pizza oven.
