The Anime Society of Antioch High

The Anime Society of Antioch High is the after school club that works year-round to make sure ASAHiCon happens annually. Though the convention is the club’s biggest event, the members also put on small dinner and movie nights for students, staff, and parents to enjoy as well as volunteer at other events. It is the club’s main goal to give its members real world experience in event planning, management, problem solving, critical thinking, communication, scheduling, and all the other things necessary to plan and execute a functioning event. The club isn’t all business, however, as the con takes annual trips to the Chinese New Year Parade and the Sakura Festival in San Francisco, as well as trips to KrakenCon for select members. Our purpose is to provide a safe environment for all people and to teach them valuable skills, all while having fun along the way. More information can be found on the convention website!
