The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) returns on Monday, July 9th- Saturday, July 14th. This premier week-long, all-ages event attracts over 20,000 fans to Brooklyn annually in a celebration of Hip-Hop music and culture.

In the last seven years, the Festival has achieved a number of memorable milestones with an impressive roster of Hip-Hop acts that include Kanye West, Q-Tip, De La Soul, Lupe Fiasco, Black Thought of The Roots, Big Daddy Kane, KRS ONE, Ghostface Killahand more.

In July 2011, the Festival continued its mission of making Hip-Hop history by presenting:

  • “Q-Tip & Friends” with Kanye West, (2012 Headliner) Busta Rhymes, Black Thought of The Roots, Monie Love and more
  • The first Bodega Recognition Awards that recognized Hip-Hop’s finest from Bobbito Garcia to Joe Conzo to Jamal Shabazz and more
  • Mr. Magic Tribute with Marley Marl and guests

2012 is poised to be even better with headliner Busta Rhymes.
