Tavit Tashjian

Armenian-American pianist Tavit Tashjian was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He began his first piano lessons when he was six years old, discovering very early in life that his desire was to become a concert pianist. His primary mentors and teachers have included Marcelo Cesena, Alexander Toradze, Caio Pagano. He has performed throughout North America and Europe being featured with Mississippi Symphony, Roanoke Symphony, Lima Symphony. Currently Tavit serves as Director of Music at First Christian Church and maintains a studio of private students.

He began the Keys to the Classics concert series in 2018 in order to provide a platform to spread the art of classical music to the community.
