Sunset Park Sun
The Sunset Park Sun is a volunteer-run community bulletin created by neighbors, journalists, and librarians.
Where can I find the Sunset Park Sun?
You can pick up the Sunset Park Sun at the Sunset Park Library during the first week of each month. Copies are also available at select businesses and community organizations around the neighborhood. If you’re a business or community group interested in carrying the Sun, or if you’d like back issues sent as PDFs, email us!
What gets published?
Every story in the Sunset Park Sun starts with a question from the community. At library sessions, neighbors share what they’re curious about and choose or suggest assignments. We work together to ask better questions, gather information, and share what we learn — focusing on the people, places, and issues that matter in Sunset Park. We don’t publish rumors or complaints without solutions.
Want to get involved?
We’d love for you to get involved with the Sunset Park Sun. You can share ideas, questions, or stories, add events for future issues, offer feedback, and let us know if we missed something.

The Sunset Park Sun is organized by the Library Newsroom Project, a community-led storytelling project where residents work together to identify questions, report stories, and share information about Sunset Park. Meetings take place at the local library.
