Summer Solstice Celebration

Summer Solstice Celebration is a non profit that produces the annual solstice Parade and Festival. It is the largest arts event in Santa Barbara County, drawing crowds of over 100,000 spectators from around the world.  The parade is a creative and original display of floats, giant puppets, whimsical costumes and masks of more than 1,000 parade participants, of all ethnic and economic backgrounds. There is dancing, music, drumming and drama that enthralls the spectators. 

Parade is June 24th, Noon. State Street - Cota St. to Micheltorena.

A three day festival takes place in Alameda Park 

Festival & Beer & Wine Garden Hours:

Friday, June 23, 4 PM - 9 PM
Saturday, June 24, Noon - 8 PM
Sunday, June 25, Noon to 6 PM

All proceeds from the festival, wine and beer garden go to support making the parade possible!
