St. Tammany Master Gardener Association

The St. Tammany Master Gardener Association is a non-profit organization composed of individuals who have completed the LSU AgCenter's  Master Gardener training program, and who are interested in helping to inform, educate, and beautify the St. Tammany community.

The St. Tammany Master Gardener Association offers seminars that are open to the public each spring and fall, and its members participate in a number of volunteer community projects on an ongoing basis.  Master Gardeners can regularly be found at both Covington and Slidell farmer's markets.

The Master Gardener Program is an extensive program of study that includes the topics of horticulture, plant science, pest control, lawn care, ornamentals, fruit and nuts, and vegetables.  New Master Gardener classes begin each year.  To apply or learn more, visit the LSU AgCenter website.
