St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section National Council of Negro Women Inc.

The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) was founded on December 5, 1935, by Mary McLeod Bethune. Our local St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section was founded by Fannye Ayer Ponder in 1942. NCNW's mission is to lead, develop, and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities.
