Sonia George - Caterpillar Music Cheshunt and St Albans

Hello, my name is Sonia and I am running classes in Cheshunt, Hoddesdon, Hertford, St Albans, Stanstead Abbotts and Ware. I have been running classes since 2013 and love every minute. Seeing your babies and toddlers respond to the music and develop their confidence, dexterity, movement, speech and social skills is the highlight of my day, as is the joy it brings to both parents/carers and their little ones.
You will always receive a warm welcome at Caterpillar Music. There is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere at our classes and we encourage your child to join in as much or as little as they wish. Our classes will include amazing puppets, fantastic musical instruments that even the youngest baby can take pleasure from, together with a massive array of traditional nursery rhymes and some new songs too. Each week we have a different theme such as numbers, colours, farm animals, jungle animals etc so your child will be learning whilst having FUN.

Fun and Creative Learning Since 2001

Our weekly classes for babies and young children offer a unique introduction to music with exciting themes, colourful instruments and amazing puppets. We have provided a fun and a creative learning experience enjoyed by thousands of families every week since 2001.

What are the benefits of music sessions?

  • Experts agree that music enhances learning and helps babies and parents communicate
  • Interaction with other children develops social skills, confidence and helps children make new friends
  • Nursery rhymes and songs help develop vocabulary
  • Playing percussion instruments fosters dexterity and provides an early introduction to music for young babies and children
  • In each weekly class, parents or carers actively join in - and for good reason. It has been shown that children benefit greatly from activities in which their parents or carers interact with them.
