Shemesha Burton

Shemesha Burton is the Wells Fargo Eastern Region Leadership Event Chair.

Shemesha oversee all programming and events across the region to ensure consistency in approach and alignment with the Wells Fargo B/AA Connection TMN value proposition.

She partner with the Region president and vice president to ensure strategic alignment of programming with enterprise direction

She manages regional projects and recognition, including the Game Changer Award program

She is the Eastern Region project manager for the annual recognition event and partnering with the Region President to identify resources to participate in the planning process

She serves as the point of contact for chapter leadership teams to provide guidance and direction in meeting the value proposition

Shemesha, a Philadelphia native, currently works in the Wells Fargo Global Financial Institution Group supporting and managing various projects across the business relationship support team.

 

She has been an active member of the B/AA TMN and other company groups since joining Wells Fargo in 2006. She served as the Phila/Del Chapter Co-Chair from 2011 to 2013.

 

Shemesha’s special skill and interest is in event planning. For the last 12 years, she has coordinated various corporate and non-corporate events and programs throughout the East Coast, including several events for Girlfriends Pray Ministry Global.

 

She has been a servant leader at the Greater Saint Matthew Baptist Church since 2001 and a member since 1988. At GSMBC she planned various big events such as the first Homecoming Service, the Celebration of Youth Recognition Program for many years, 4.R.L Young Adult Ministry programs and events, The Evangelist Sister Circle Meet-ups bi-monthly and lastly the P.O.W. Conference 2016.
