Share Our Strength®, a national nonprofit, is ending childhood hunger in the United States by connecting children with the nutritious food they need to lead healthy, active lives. Through our Cooking Matters® program, we teach families how to cook and shop for healthy, affordable and delicious meals.

On this site, you can register for open-enrollment Cooking Matters for Child Care Professionals courses statewide.

Cooking Matters for Child Care Professionals teaches early care and education professionals how to cook healthy, affordable and delicious meals and create a positive food environment for the children in their care. Courses are offered to center-based and family home child care professionals. Typically courses are in a one-day format; however, there might be a few courses which are taught as a series. Please look carefully at the calendar for more details.
