Serve Indiana's mission is to advance service and volunteerism by informing, connecting, and promoting opportunities and resources that enrich the lives of Hoosiers

This state office provides national service opportunities in the state of Indiana through the AmeriCorps*State grant. They connect unemployed homeowners receiving assistance from the Hardest Hit Fund to volunteer opportunities to increase their networking, develop new skill sets, and positively impact the community. Through the Boys & Girls Club, the state's Indiana Kids program strives to bridge the achievement gap in schools by increasing the quality of completed homework and improving student behavior and attitude toward school and learning.

Annually, Serve Indiana partners with SAVI Community Information System and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General to host the Indiana Nonprofit Summit (formerly known as the Governor's Conference on Service and Nonprofit Capacity Building) to confer the state's nonprofit leaders to equip and empower them to tackle our communities most pressing needs.
