SASS Defense with Rachel Westfall

For more information or to set-up a private group class email:

SASS is a women's self defense course that teaches women how to save themselves in a life threatening situation. This class can be therapeutic to survivors of assault as well as preventative for women who have not been attacked. SASS focuses women's strengths against an attacker's weaknesses in the simplest and most effective ways possible.

Often times when confronted with a dangerous or potentially dangerous situation we don't know what to do. We cover human behavior warning signs that assailants may show before attacking a woman as well as what to do after successfully defending yourself against an attack.

The physical techniques that are taught to defend against an assault are very simple and effective. Any woman can learn these techniques, whether she is in high school or middle-aged.

A Bit About Rachel

Rachel is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and has moved to Washington DC where she is quickly building a strong and supportive community of females whose lives have been positively influenced and empowered by SASS.

Rachel loves empowering women not only to gain the physical ability to defend themselves, but also to find the confidence within themselves to take charge in uncomfortable and even dangerous situations. She was nominated and selected to represent SASS at the United State of Women Summit presented by the White House, Department of Labor, Goldman Sachs and the Tory Burch Foundation.
