Megan, a certified labor and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and breastfeeding counselor, has supported over 400 families in their births and over l000 families postpartum. She has experience as a rape crisis and domestic violence advocate and as a professor of anthropology. Now, Megan continues to advocate, learn, teach and mentor as a doula.
Sarah has supported families in New York City since 2012 as a labor doula. She received her Masters in Social Work from NYU and completed psycho-analytic training from The Women’s Therapy Centre Institute, studying relationships to food and body from a feminist framework. Sarah is also the author of “A Doula for the Mother and the Self: Exploring the Intersection of Birth and Body Culture”.
