Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC)
The Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC) is the fourth club in Washington, DC. We were chartered by Rotary International on December 18, 2013. Since our formation, we have been involved with organizations in the District of Columbia such as DC Beautifican Project, A Cleaner Ward 7, KEEN (Kids-Enjoy-Exercise-Now), SOME (Some Others Might Eat), Suited For Change, Operation Backpack as well as supporting RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), whereby we have sponsored area high school students to a leadership conference. Our largest long term project has been the establishment of the Rotaract Club of American University on December 1, 2016. We have weekly Wednesdays programs at 6:30pm [Club Meeting with speaker on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday, Club Fellowship on the 2nd Wednesday and Club Happy Hour on the 4th Wednesday of each month].
