Room to Grow Young Professionals Council

Mission
Room to Grow’s mission is to enrich the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development.

About Room to Grow
Room to Grow was founded in 1998 and expanded to Boston in 2005 to combat the statistical reality that children born into poverty are more likely to enter kindergarten behind their middle-class peers, leading to a lifelong achievement gap that is nearly impossible to overcome. Room to Grow is committed to changing the academic, social, emotional, health and behavioral outcomes for children born into poverty by providing families with long-term, individualized parental support and a tremendous material benefit that includes all essential baby items needed during the first three years of life. Room to Grow serves nearly 400 babies and their families annually.

Room to Grow’s Young Professionals Council (YPC)
The mission of the Room to Grow’s Young Professionals Council of Boston is to lead initiatives to attract, engage and expand the organization’s network throughout Boston. Your support directly impacts babies in Boston. Room to Grow relies on the generous support of  individual, corporate, and foundation partners to support the lives of babies in poverty. Thank you for making a difference!
