Laval W. Belle, a Stellar Nominated and highly respected musician, author, playwright and Minister takes nothing for granted. As a child in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, Belle learned the importance of hard work and persistence, and the successful fruit of labor is evident in every undertaking he achieves.
As an author, Belle has penned thought-provoking publications entitled, Your Gifts Are Not Your Purpose, Love In All The Wrong Faces, The Saint and Sexual Addiction, Why I Don't Pay Tithe, and Your Dreams & Visions. His most recent music literature entitled “Heritage.”
In 2000, Belle founded the non-profit organization, Caring Ministries, a ministry dedicated to serve and meet the needs of all people. As a minister, Belle has instructed courses such as "Spiritual Gifts" and "Making of a Leader" at the West Angeles Bible College. Belle also speaks to audiences throughout the country and urban communities motivating youth and adults through inspirational dialogue in seminars, conferences, prisons, small groups, and congregational services.
As an accomplished musician, he has enjoyed playing for several well known artists such as Keb’Mo’, Bette Midler, Andrae' Crouch, George Benson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Barry White, Aretha Franklin, Kirk Franklin, Billy Preston, Paul Jackson, Jr., Donnie McClurkin, and many others. Belle’s prolific career as a musician has afforded him the opportunity to instruct a music course at Bethesda University in Anaheim, California
Belle is the co-producer of the gospel jazz CDs entitled "Free" and "From This Moment On". Belle is also the writer and co-producer of Love In All The Wrong Faces, a riveting theatrical musical production adapted from his second book.
He is the Executive Producer and co-writer of the inspirational youth talent showcase, Celebrating Black Youth, which he co-founded in 1995.
Belle presently leads an entourage of highly respected artists in his latest gospel/jazz/blues masterpiece, “Heritage”, with Jesse Campbell, Andrae' Crouch, Paul Jackson, Jr., Tom Brown, Keb’ Mo’, and many others comprise this musical Dream Team. He also serves on the Grammy Committee.
