Roger Muller Photography

Roger Muller's photographic work deliberately uses modernist techniques to interpret the world around us. Visiting a place many times, Roger develops an intimacy with a location before composing an image of that space.

Roger is the author of articles on: creativity, design, military history, and photography as well as both undergraduate and graduate school curriculum. His upcoming book Beginners Mind, due to be released in early 2014, is a meditation on the intersections of predawn, introspection, and art.

He has received awards in creative direction from the American Advertising Federation, Pikes Peak Advertising Federation, Golden Web, and Retail Advertising World.

Roger studied at the Art Students League of New York, holds a B.F.A. in Photography from Pratt Institute, and assisted Sally Mann, John Sexton and Arnold Neumann at the Maine Photographic Workshops. Additionally, Roger workshopped with Allan Ross at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Valley, CA and is a member of Arts Benicia.
