First and foremost, Girls Night Out mission is dedicated to encouraging and empowering women and small business professionals to create heartfelt, meaningful relationships with one another that will in turn strengthen our communities.

Girls Night Out inception was born February 2008, Regina Johnson and Verdell Bowden owners of a small boutique, The Hodgepodge, was looking for way to network with others in the community about small business entrepenuers and as a way to market and show their merchandise. Since 2008 Women and men from a variety of backgrounds come to socialize in an informal setting and The Hodgepodge Girls Night Out Networking circle has grown tremendously. There are normally 200 to 500 people in attendance and over 30 to 50 vendors, depending on the location.
