Rainbow House, Inc.

Rainbow House, Inc is an agency that has two main components outpatient and inpatient. Our Advocacy Center, Rainbow Connection serves as our outpatient facility. It provides services to children between the ages of 3-17 who has possibly been exposed to physical or sexual abuse. These services include a forensic interview which gathers information for law enforcement and the District Attorney office to prosecute the offender. In order to help the family heal from the trauma we also provide therapeutic counseling at no charge. Our Emergency Shelter for Children provides 24 hour care for teens that are in the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services. We accept both male and female residents who are between the ages of 13-17. While in our care we provide basic level of care such as shelter, food, clothing AND we also become their counselor, mentor, and extended family.

Rainbow House goal is to rebuild lives and restore families. We come into contact with families when they are broken and need a place for healing. Families served by our advocacy center are victims who need help with piecing their lives back together. Our children in the shelter are placed with us after being found deprived by a Juvenile Court Judge. While in our care Rainbow House staff prides our self on being the consistent component in the child's life while they are away from family and living outside of their homes.
